The Kona Village Resort Hale Moana Breakfast

Hale Moana provides guests with an excellent oceanfront dining experience for breakfast.  The wide variety of delicious breakfast items with warm friendly service is a wonderful way to start each day of your vacation.  They provide you with a special tropical fresh fruits plate while you decide on your breakfast selections.  The coffee is world famous local grown Kona coffee.  As you enjoy your delicious breakfast you are also blessed with a beautiful ocean view from your table.  You also get to make dinner and luau reservations with your hostess upon arrival to breakfast.   At Kona Village then think of everything to make each step of your vacation enjoyable.   

       
The Kona Village Resort Hale Moana Lunch, Dinner

Lunch is an open-air buffet with a large variety of fresh salads, cold seafood, daily specials and hot off the grill fish and hamburgers.  The food and service are both excellent.  This casual dining experience provides you with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.  This is a great opportunity for families and friends to meet and talk about their afternoon and evening adventures and activities.   The general manager Ulrich Krauer often enjoys lunch with the resort guests and resort team members. Ulrich’s spirit of aloha is shared with both the resort guest and the team at Kona Village Resort throughout the day. 
Dinner is served nightly from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. indoors or outdoors. Guests select from a variety of excellent Hawaiian and Asian inspired selections which include fresh island seafood, tender meats, taste-tempting salads, sides and desserts.  The Resort brings in many of the items from local farms, ranches and fishing boats.   This farm to the table experience in conjunction with talented chef’s, wait staff and atmosphere make this an excellent dining experience.

Hale Samoa offers diners with culinary experience that is a must.  Dinner at Hale Samoa will tantalize your taste buds.  Executive Chef Mark Tsuchiyama’s creative French Polynesian cuisine of traditional favorites elevates foods of the Pacific to new culinary heights.  Watching the sunset from your table will add to the romance of your dinner.  Hale Samoa open air dining experience will be a wonderful and memorable vacation experience.

       
The Kona Village Resort Paniolo (cowboy) Night BBQ

Each Tuesday evening “Paniolo Night” celebrates the rich culture and heritage of Hawaiian cowboys with great food and live slack-key guitar entertainment. Paniolo Night offers a delicious menu which includes fresh salads, grilled steak, chicken, fresh island fish, corn on the cob, desserts and for a nominal extra fee, fresh Kehaole grilled lobster. The Paniolo decor adds to the evening’s dining theme. Hardworking Paniolo are on hand to talk story with guests, answer questions and share knowledge and lore about their intriguing lifestyle.  Paniolo Night is fun, entertaining and enjoyable at the Kona Village Resort!

       
The Kona Village Resort Hawaiian Luau - Wednesday Ahaaina Luau

Hawaiian Aha Aina Lauu takes place each Wednesday evening.  Kona Village’s aha`aina  luau honors ancient Hawaiian traditions while providing fun and exciting entertainment.  The family style seating is a great way for you to meet other resort guests and make new friends.  The aha`aina  luau begins with the unveiling of traditionally prepared foods in a traditional Hawaiian cooking method that utilizes an imu, or underground earth oven.  The entertainment includes hula dancing, Hawaiian music and fire dancing.  This luau is authentic and fun for all ages.

Friday Night Hawaiian Savai‘I Luau, Origins of Polynesia provides guests with a vibrant South Pacific luau experience. with an authentic cultural journey through the rich history and culture of Polynesians  The  umu oven is used (Polynesian earthen oven), to  prepare an authentic Polynesian buffet that showcases cultural foods such as kalua pig, lomi lomi salmon and poi alongside favorites such as fresh island fish, tasty chicken and tropical fruits.  Savai‘i includes the Maori songs of New Zealand and unique to New Zealand poi ball dance, the Samoan fire dance, and the hip-shaking Tahitian tamure. Implements, chants and dance during.
